Sohail Khan is quite confident that his magnum opus starring Salman Khan, will break quite a few records at the box office. Guests present at the party saw Sohail going up to his friends as well as rank strangers and telling them that Mental, which is slated for a Republic Day release, will be a bigger hit than Chennai Express — which is on a record breaking spree. According to him, the film will be Salman's biggest blockbuster and will even dwarf his Dabangg in terms of box office collections. A source close to the film justified Sohail's unbridled enthusiasm, "Sohail is extremely happy with the way Mental has shaped up. He is particularly excited about the dance numbers. He believes the album will be a chartbuster."

Jai Ho is the most anticipated movie of the year 2014. So now we discuss Jai Ho box office collections. Now you know that Chennai Express smashed all records broke whither its first day or weekend record or week record but one thing is constant in that period is screen counts. CE released in 3700 screens and occupancy is around first day is 81% and ETT was 98% Occupancy and released in 3250 Screens. So Now lets come to the point, What is the box office collection of Jai Ho.

Opening Day Predictions:

1. If film released on 24th Jan. Its working day but we know that Salman Khan charisma. so if film release on 4000 screens then first day should be 40 cr+. And i,m 100% sure two records will be break, 1st is non holiday biggest first day and highest first day collection.
2. 2nd scenario is if film released on 26th Jan. Its sunday and Indian republic day. If film release in 4000 screens in that day then history created itself. Marks my words First day should be 50 cr+ in least condition.

Weekend Predictions:

1. If film released on 24th Jan Then first day is 40 cr+ and Saturday will be 45 cr+ and ya u believe it or not but sunday is 50 cr+ because its holiday and indian republic day. and film movie is also patriotic. So weekend will be itself 120 cr+ in worst case scenario. and 100 cr in 2 days if public want paid previews. Otherwise 100 cr in 2.3 days.
2. 2nd scenario is if film released on 26th Jan. first day will be 50 cr+ but second day is monday and its bloody monday we know that but monday will be 30-40 cr range. and it is the biggest Monday ever in the history of indian cinema. and tuesday will be in 20-30 cr range. Now weekend will be in worst case scenario is 110 cr+.

Week Prediction:

1. If film released on 24th Jan.The week should be in 160-180 cr range.
2. 2nd scenario is if film released on 26th Jan. The week should be in 150-170 cr range.

LifeTime Box Office Prediction:

Lifetime box office collection will be 250 cr+ in worst case scenario and if film accepted then 300cr+ in india in range of this film.

On wednesday  morning shows occupancy around 10-15% all over india as per initial reports. so now all depend on night shows because tomorrow is holiday. so all depends on night shows if film picks then 200 cr possible but if picks fail then outiamd make bigger impact on CE lifetime collection.

Why ETT better for CE?

This Friday Bollywood witnessed The Biggest Release Till Now Chennai Express . The Film Though has got Huge Opening But as Per Official Report. Ek Tha Tiger’s First Day Collection was 32.92 crores Nett where Chennai Express Standing on 33.12 crores Nett .

Fact # 1

CE has released in Highest Numbers of Screens of around 3700 – 3800 screens where ETT Released in only 3300 Screens

Fact # 2

Moreover CE has got Price Hike of around 40% in Ticket Price .But ETT had no hike prices.

Fact # 3

CE Released in Full EID Holiday where ETT released on Ramadan as a result there were no Muslim Audiences.

Fact # 4

CE get 85% occupancy all over India where ETT gets 98% occupancy all over India.

Fact # 5

If ETT release as same as CE screens then its first day was 42 cr. If we include paid previews its get 49 cr on day 1.

Chennai Express Monday Collections 7-11cr Estimated

Chennai Express has taken a very slow start on Monday Morning shows all india. it is working day but surprising news is coming from Northern Part of India, where collections are lower than expected. Chennai Express has registered an occupancy of 25% in Morning shows across all India from the sample received mostly from multiplexes. Occupancy in Delhi and Gurgaon City is around 15-20% on average. In Mumbai City occupancy is better with 25-30% recorded. In Hyderabad City which saw a gigantic occupancy of 95%+ for whole weekend, has registered an occupancy of 50% which is good.

In the opening weekend of Chennai Express, Saturday was the most lower performing day collecting 28 crore nett. But even on Saturday, CE got 70% opening in Morning shows. If we compare Monday collections in Morning shows to Saturday then also drop is more than 50-60% in almost all centers, except a few. Plus, ticket prices will be lower as weekday starts.

But I think CE get 7-11 cr expected on Monday. Its not true sign for the film in long run because on Thursday outiamd released and it will snatched 2000 + screens. This is also the bad sign of ce. Hope CE will sustain in weekdays.
